Wolvega Composites BV designs, produces and maintains high quality composites and sandwich panels for a large number of varied applications. The company is located in its own complex of approx. 5400 m2, consisting of 1 hall with a working height and door height of 6 m. Part of the hall has been set up to create dust free, fibre reinforced synthetic (including PURE)

Wolvega Composites BV has over 30 years of experience in adhesive technology.
The company also has a tool workshop for creating matrices, tooling and prototyping, as well as a laboratory for quality control.

The extensive machinery consists of:

General production:

• 7 crane tracks ( max load 40 ton),
• 2 wall saws measuring 6x2,5 m,
• 4 milling machines,
• 3 circular saws,
• 1 planing machine,
• 1 horizontal vertical sander,
• 1 copier milling drill,
• 3 brake presses.
• 2 fireproof and cooled storage areas for glues and resin, cutting machines and welding equipment.
• 4 level presses (1 with very high pressure and temperature is computer driven).
• 2 deairing pug mills measuring 6x2 m. (cold press)
• 1 deairing pug mill measuring 12x2 m (cold press)
• 1 deairing pug mill measuring 12 x 4 m (cold press)
• 1 air pressure press cap. 8x2x2 m (cold press)
• 2 air pressure press strips
• 1 deairing pug mill for corner pieces 6x1.2x1.2 m)
• 12 deairing pug mills for curved and bent constructions
• 1 Kannegiesser form finisher for profile constructions with increased pressure.
• 1 vacuum applicator (aircraft interior refurbishment, computer components)
• 1 Presse Clave measuring 7x2m (for high quality synthetic products)
• 1 automatic bonding line consisting of: 2x 3 ton decoiler, cut and slit line, optical and edge profiling machine, computer driven automatic gluing machine, heated hydraulic continuous machine measuring.10 x 1.2 x 0.3 m .
• 1 glue line consisting of: 2x 2.5 ton decoiler, cut and slit line, edge profiling machine, heated pneumatic continuous machine measuring 6 x 2.5 x 0.1 m .

Wolvega Panelen creates products based on drawings or on its own design and development.
