Carl-Otto Schartenberg GmbH (COS-Systems) was founded in 1997. The company is registered at the court of commerce in Wuppertal/GE (HRB 13583).COS-Systems’ personnel consists of consultants with extensive experience in demanding international environments. The company itself and all consultants have military security clearances. Additionally, a proven network of external consultants and industrial partners ensures a seamless coverage of a wide range of professional services, from initial problem analysis to solution implementation.

For the NATO community, the company offers its competency through the NATO 'Basic Ordering Agreement' (BOA) No. 8991 with the NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A), Brussels/BE, in the domains ‘Management Information Systems’ and ‘Military Command and Control Systems’.
