Electron Energy Corporation (EEC) offers unmatched expertise in rare earth magnets, assemblies and systems. Founded in 1970, EEC is an ITAR and DFARS-compliant, US supplier, that develops and produces custom Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) and Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) sintered permanent magnets, assemblies and systems. EEC is dedicated to improving rare earth magnet performance to meet the most technically demanding applications in aerospace, military, medical, electronics, and motion control markets.

EEC provides the widest array of magnetic properties attainable for SmCo with the broadest operating temperature range – including ultra-high temperature SmCo UHT trademark – which can operate continuously up to 550°C. We produce SmCo permanent magnets with maximum energy products in excess of 30 Mega Gauss Oerstead (30 MGOe) and application-specific blends to provide unique, customized properties for optimized magnetic circuit designs. EEC offers Temperature Compensated (TC) specialty magnet materials with near zero reversible temperature coefficient of Br and can control the TC to the ppm level. SmCo magnets usually do not need coating to protect them from environment induced corrosion, which allows more accurate part tolerances and simplifies use. We also design and manufacture neodymium iron boron magnets and magnet assemblies. Neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) is the highest energy product permanent magnet material available.
