Explosive forming offers virtually unrestructed solutions for sheetmetal products in terms of shape, size, thickness and metal.
It is particularly well suited for prototypes and small production runs. Large columes can be accommodated economically for specific products.
The main target markets of Exploform are (aero)space, Architecture & Art and Energy (gas turbines & nuclear)
Exploform was founded in 1998 as a spin-off of the TNO Prins Maurits Laboratory.
After an introduction period an especially dedicated facility was designed and built in 2003. A new, enhanced facility is currently under construction.
