FMS was founded in 1986, and is a public company traded in the Israeli stock exchange. The company is a world leader and pioneer in advanced ballistic protection technology and manufacturing, and one of the main sources worldwide for ballistic protection raw materials and products.
FMS Main Product Lines
1. Non-Woven - Aramid UD (Uni-Directional) and UHMW-PE UD
2. Pressed Panels & Plates
The Panels are made of either UHMW-PE UD or Aramid UD or Woven Aramid or a combination of them.
Vehicle Protection
FMS are capable of pressing up to 1600 x 2500 mm flat panels. That can defeat the following standards:
· NIJ STD. 0108.01
· EN 1063
· STANAG 4569
Personal Protection
FMS are capable of producing over 30,000 plates per month. That can Defeat the following standards:
· NIJ STD. 0101.04 Levels IIA, II, IIIA, III and up to special III(+), III(++)
· Can be used with a Level IIIA vest or as a stand-alone plate
· Higher threat levels are available upon request
High Flexibility - FMS can produce a wide range of width’s allowing for a better optimization of the materials thus lowering costs for our customers.
World Unique - FMS is the only manufacturer worldwide that manufactures both woven Aramid fabrics and Non-woven UD-PE and UD-Aramid under one company is licensed to do so.
Quality Assurance - FMS has it''s own Ballistic Laboratory, certified by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and the Israeli Police. This Ballistic Laboratory is used in providing QA and QC testing to all of FMS’s products before shipment. FMS is ISO-9001:2000 certified.
Unique Customer Services - FMS Ballistic Laboratory is also used for the development of new materials and new ballistic protection solutions both for personal and for vehicular applications that best serve FMS’s customers specific requirements.
Fast Deliveries - Due to FMS’s unique capabilities, flat management structure and high volume manufacturing capacities, FMS delivers its product’s at record breaking times.
