Meggitt Training Systems, part of Meggitt Defense Systems, provides Training Systems and Defense Systems used by militaries and law enforcement and security agencies around the world. We develop, manufacture, market and service high quality virtual training capabilities and live fire training systems. In 2007, following the acquisition of FATS by Meggitt, the global aerospace, defense, and sensors corporation --and publicly on the London Stock Exchange (symbol MGGT) -- FATS and what was previously known as Meggitt Defense Systems Caswell--the global specialists in stationary and mobile ground target systems for small arms and armor training--combined capabilities and integrated personnel and facilities to form Meggitt Training Systems. This allows the company to provide turnkey, full spectrum virtual through live training capabilities and complete mission planning and situational awareness tools.
