AERO Vodochody a.s. focuses on development, production, sales and support of civil and military aviation technology.

Aero follows the tradition of Aero - továrna létadel (Aero - Aircraft Factory) established in 1919, ranking among the oldest aviation technology producers in the world. Aero is currently the largest aviation technology producer in the Czech Republic and historically the largest jet training aircraft producer in the world. Aero has a certified quality management system according to AS 9100 / ISO 9001 and is a holder of all relevant certificates of the company as a whole as well as all partial processes according to national and international standards. 100 % of the shares of Aero are owned by the private equity group Penta.
