Naval Material Command Denmark/Contract Department Company Center

The Naval Material Command (NMC) is responsible for the procurement and maintenance of naval equipment and supplies. NMC consists of the following two divisions: The Technical Division: initiates, procures and integrates new projects and systems and is responsible for modification and major overhauls of ships, sensor systems and weapon systems. The Logistic Division: monitors the day to day maintenance and technical operation of ships, sensor systems and weapon systems and is also responsible for procurement of general supplies.
