Shellcast is a leading manufacturer of precision aluminum investment castings by the lost wax process and we are located in Montreal, Canada since 1971. We supply castings to the Military and Defense, Aerospace, Satellite and high-tech commercial industries.
Shellcast QMS-Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001: 2000 and AS-9100. We are also registered under the Canadian controlled goods program, which complies with the US State Department ITAR regulations. We are also NADCAP accredited.
We have in-house Heat treating, Non-Destructive Testing (which includes penetrant and radiography) and Destructive testing facilities to support our foundry operations. We further assure our customers a quality product through daily metal analysis with the use of a spectrograph. We ensure all castings meet dimensional tolerance with the use of CMM’s (Coordinate Measuring Machines). Our engineering department is equipped with an in-house CAD system and a staff of professionals available to work with you for all your aluminum investment casting needs.
Our rapid prototype casting service can accommodate sample requirements without the need of a costly or time consuming hard tooling for functional verifications of new designs.
We produce a variety of innovative and intricate castings solutions that are small enough to hold in the palm of your hand and up to 42 inches long.
