Our company was established in 1989 and began its activity from Optical Time Domain Reflectometers producing and local fibre optic networking. 1994 Skaidula started to work in the branch of private communication systems as authorised dealer of Siemens OY. In the same time we became representatives of Reichle + De - Massari (Switzerland) in Lithuania and begun to supply with qualitative line distribution equipment. In 1995 GSM network was established in Lithuania. From that time JSC Skaidula started to sell mobile telephones and fax/data transmitting adaptors. In the same time we started to represent Fujikura Europe Ltd. (UK). FUJIKURA is the biggest producer of fiber optic cable for special purpose and fiber optic splice machine. In 1996 we started to produce high quality fiber optic connector considering DIAMOND technology, which buy Lietuvos telekomas, cable TV operators and etc. Presently our company is among biggest information and telecommunication technologies providing companies. Skaidula realizes the complex solutions from product design to its implementation and maintenance. Projects include wide range of services beginning with installation of local networks and ending with implementation of telecommunication networks and information systems. There are 84 employees in our company. Fixed capital 460.000 EUR. Annual turnover over 10.400.000 EUR (2005). We’re implementing quality management system in accordance with the EN ISO 9001. The main directions of our business are: Siemens PN products distribution, sales, installation and maintenance. Communication cables, cabling systems for voice, data and video applications. Fiber optic cables, splicing machines test equipment, distribution frames, connectors/ pigtails and patch cords are assembled in our company with "Diamond" technology and machines selling, fiber optic LAN installation and consulting. IT consulting, provision, installation, maintenance & support. Measuring equipment distribution, selling. Electrical materials selling and industry automatic design , installation, maintenance. We’re representing: Siemens (Germany), HP, Reichle+De-Massari (Switzerland), Diamond (Switzerland), Radiodetection (UK), Fujikura (Japan), GN Nettest (Denmark). Our partners are: Siemens (Germany), Hewlett Packard Lithuania, TEO, Reichle+De-Massari (Switzerland); Diamond (Switzerland), Radiodetection (UK), Fujikura (Japan); GN Nettest (Denmark), Riser-Bond (USA); Hellermann (UK), Elektrim (Poland). Our customers are: State Power Supply System, Lithuanian Telecom, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defence, Klaipeda Harbour, Vilnius Airport, State Oil Company, Hansabank, Hotel „Villon”, Klaipedas Hospital, Ministry of State defence, Jonavas „Achema”.
