TNO TPD was set up in 1941. Now as then, TNO TPD’s aim is to strengthen the competitiveness of its clients though the innovative application of technology. We believe that the best way to achieve this goal is to excel in a number of disciplines and their practical application in a variety of domains. Aiming at excellence in technology means meeting international state-of-the-art standards. Our focus technologies are applied physics, informatics, optics, acoustics, mechanics, electronics, materials and process technology. Multidisciplinary project teams carry out contract projects, and should additional expertise be required to solve our clients’ problems, we call in other centres of knowledge such as universities or other TNO institutes.
