PIAP belongs to the group strong polish research institutions, specialized in the field of unique technical solutions for security, defence and satellite applications. Moreover we have wide network of established contacts with police forces, border control forces, fire fighters, and civil protection in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, Es-tonia and Ukraine. In PIAP work over one hundred specialists in the field of information technology, electronics, robotics, mechtronics, metrology and also quality management. Our main areas of expertise are connected with:

- Dissemination, exploitation and marketing activities connected with technical solutions for security and defence
We have been part of many European projects (4,5,6 FP), international projects and projects ordered by Polish Ministry of Science.
