CRISA, a fully owned subsidiary of EADS Astrium, is a Spanish company founded in 1985 to design and manufacture electronic equipment and software for space applications; satellites, launchers, orbital infrastructure and space transportation vehicles. Other activities include engineering projects for ground stations and for the defence and audiovisual sectors.
CRISA, presently employing more than 240 employees, is especially active in the following areas:
• Avionics and Electrical Equipment: on board control and signal processing computers, digital processors, video electronics, microelectronics, launcher electronics, power subsystems, driving electronics, electric propulsion and system engineering.
• Software development for flight and ground applications
