Created in 2001, TEKEVER S.A. has been inspired to create technology, products and solutions that allow people to collaborate more efficiently towards achieving common goals, promoting the EVERNET concept. The philosophy is to use innovative technology as a driver and a differentiator, investing strongly in R&T fields directly related to interaction, distributed collaboration and communications. Over the last 8 years, TEKEVER has established a leading position in the mobile platforms market. With a customer base of over 200, TEKEVER has developed an innovative technological platform, created its first EVERNET enabled products and shifted from a service-oriented philosophy to a product-oriented one.
Since its beginning, TEKEVER has made significant investments in RTD following the clear belief that competitive advantage is maintained through technological research which enables the optimization and evolution of existing products as well as the creation of brand new ones.
In 2008, TEKEVER ASDS was created as a spin-off of TEKEVER based on the company’s research and engineering team for Aeronautics, Space, Defence and Security. TEKEVER ASDS mission is to contribute to the modernization and evolution of products for the Aeronautics, Space, Defence and Security markets with groundbreaking technologies, allowing for a cooperative and sustainable improvement of available information, communication and action means while ensuring interoperability and operational continuity.
Ever since its creation, TEKEVER ASDS has been dedicated almost exclusively to RTD. Based on its strong RTD background, the company has developed two products that will be commercially explored in 2009. TEKEVER ASDS core expertise lie in communications and in particular Ad-hoc networking, Disruption Tolerant Networking, Cognitive Radio and SDR; autonomous platforms; integration of navigation, communications and remote sensing; and early warning systems. The company also has extensive experience in collaborative research under the European Commission Framework Programmes, the European Space Agency and the European Defence Agency.
