Advatech Pacific, Inc. (Advatech) has been awarded certification for the AS9100 International Aerospace Quality System Standard. This certification signifies the company's commitment to meet, or exceed, increasingly stringent industry requirements as a world-class supplier of aerospace related products and services to the civil and military markets. Becoming AS9100 certified strengthens the company's competitive position and standardizes quality processes.
For suppliers in the aerospace industry, achieving the AS9100 certification is a key milestone. It is considered the gold standard for quality assurance specifically for aerospace companies. It ensures that the company has passed stringent certification requirements and audits of its internal processes to achieve the high standard of quality required by the aerospace industry. The current version of AS9100, Revision B, aligns well with, but is more stringent than the more common ISO quality standard, ISO 9001:2008, for which Advatech was certified in November 2009.
