iMAR Navigation launches 3rd Generation of Advanced INS/GNSS Inertial Surveying Systems of type iNAV-FJI with 0.01 arcsec Resolution and 1'000 Hz Datarate
St. Ingbert, Germany - Sep 6, 2011 - iMAR GmbH, a leading German manufacturer of inertial measuring systems for navigation, stabilization, surveying, guidance and control, being designed for defence, surveying and industrial applications (www.imar-navigation.de), launched it's latest generation of ultra high precision inertial navigation systems of type iNAV-FJI-001-J to an German customer. The systems are used as angular and position reference for laser scanners (LIDAR), geodetic cameras, pilot guidance.

Key features are the high angular resolution of 0.01 arcsec (< 0.1 urad) and performance, very high data rate (1'000 Hz), precise time referencing / synchronization, internal data storage and open interfaces like UDP, TCP/IP, RS422, CAN. The system supports GPS, GLONASS and is prepared for GALILEO. The system is fully qualified to MIL-STD-810F and MIL-STD-416E.

The system is used for LIDAR and SONAR as well as for geo-referencing tasks and can be exported to all European countries, Canada, USA, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland etc. with a simplified export procedure (causes no delay in delivery). The system is not covered by any ITAR related export restrictions. On request the same system is also available with ring laser gyro technology (iNAV-RQH-10018).
