Ternion Releases FLAMES Version 10.0 at I/ITSEC 2011

Orlando FL, United States - Nov 29, 2011 - Ternion(r) Corporation, a leading provider of commercial simulation software and services, announced the release of FLAMES(r) Version 10.0 today at the Breakfast with Ternion hospitality event held during I/ITSEC 2011. FLAMES 10.0 will also be demonstrated in Booth #829.

The following are new product features and enhancements in FLAMES 10.0:

Enhanced User Interface. Ternion rewrote the ENTIRE low-level graphical user interface (GUI) subsystem of FLAMES to lay the foundation for future FLAMES GUI enhancements.

Command Editor Enhancements. Users now have additional control over the configuration and behavior of a Unit through the extremely friendly and fully-customizable user interface provided by the Command Editor.

Enhanced Analysis Improvements. Easily change scenario variable values while editing and executing scenarios in FORGE.

XML Database Format. All text-based dataset files in the FLAMES Scenario Database are now written, by default, in Extensible Markup Language (XML) format.

New Commands. Several new commands are now supported by the bundled cognition models that allow the user to take advantage of the new command editor enhancements.

Enhancements to C++ Development. Sweeping changes were made to FLAMES to provide improved support for C++ development. FLAMES will continue to support development in both C and C++ languages.
