C4i Wins New Orders with Police and Army

The Board of LongReach Group Limited today announced that C4i Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the LongReach Group, was awarded a contract by New South Wales Police Force (NSWPF) for the turn key supply of its Switchplus Communications system at two key regional sites in NSW, Australia. This contract was awarded to C4i as a result of competitive tendering process. The contract is valued at over AU$900K and will be delivered prior to the end of this financial year.

The Switchplus system lends itself to easy customisation allowing for this unique police project to be commissioned within six (6) weeks of contract award. This contract is further proof of the flexibility offered by our Switchplus product, which is already operating in public safety applications in Europe, the Middle East and Australia." said Peter Harrison, Managing Director of C4i.
C4i also secured orders valued in excess of AU$300K for the provision of mobile dismount systems to be used in vehicles by the United States military. The Switchplus Mobile-Dismount systems enable access to multiple radios, radios bridging, remote control and also integration of IP telephones. The functionality is based upon C4i's Radio Interface Unit - a compact, 4-port radio gateway with an embedded SIP server and serial ports for remote control. These systems are being delivered to multiple customers and have potential for significant repeat orders. C4i's Switchplus Mobile-Dismount system offers significant performance minimizing size, weight and power requirements.
The referenced contracts all use the latest C4i IP based technology which has now been delivered to customers in Australia, America, Europe and Asia. C4i continues to advance its product offering through its on going research and development program.
